MEET PAULO

Meet Paulo, age 3, another new student this year. He lives with his two brothers and his parents who both work full time. At first Paulo was a little shy with his classmates. He is a quiet and calm child and adapted easily to our routines. As the months go by however Paulo shares and socializes with more confidence and ease. He loves to put together puzzles, play with cars and dress up, especially as Spider-Man.

Even at his young age, when in class, Paulo pays attention and is a good model for his peers. He works on his worksheets with care and attention and when he finishes, he asks for a happy face!

Paulo enjoys all the different foods that are offered, most of the time he asking for 2 portions of food. Paulo’s mother is very grateful for the Center, especially in the care, safety, food and education to help Paulo get a better start despite their economic difficulties.

When you make your donation recurring, you’ll join our Helping Hands Sustainer Circle, a community of extraordinary humans working together to provide monthly support for the children and families at the Acorn Childcare Center. As a member, your monthly commitment provides a reliable and sustainable source of funds we can use to plan programs, create budgets and expand services. For example, your monthly commitment of $25 could provide the children with safe drinking water each month while $50 could provide books and art supplies for the month.

Maya Childcare Inc is run entirely by volunteers, thus 100% of your donation goes directly to the Acorn Childcare Center.
