If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, please like our pages and post and share information for your friends, family, and followers to see. You can also comment and like our posts so more people can learn about what we do. Keep a look out for local events, too! We often team up with other businesses who donate a portion of their proceeds us.
ORGANIZE
Bake sales, UnBake Sales, Walk/Jog-A-Thons, Family Fun Night…the sky is the limit! Easy to organize, set up and run these community events are reliable fundraisers that can bring in a surprising amount of cash and spread awareness about Maya Childcare. Start with your family or your neighborhood or extend it to your church group, work place, or classroom and school.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteers make a huge contribution to work at the Center and are warmly invited to share in the task of caring for children here in Quetzaltenango. In order to provide stability, we ask those working directly with children to make a commitment of at least a month.
PLAY
Golf for Good! Our 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place at The Bay Pointe Club on September 29, 2023. Join us for a day of golf, lunch, and prizes! (Not a golfer? Not a problem! We have limited sponsorship opportunities available.)
HELP A CHILD TODAY
The Acorn Childcare Center (Centro Infantil Bellota in Spanish) gives children a better start in life, providing essential care and exceptional early education for 2–6 year olds.
